David Eden hails from the east coast from a small town in Amish country. Growing up in such a unique town, country music, high school football games, and furniture rides behind tractors were some of the good times to be had. However it was at this time David began experimenting for the first time with visually telling stories. Having a passion for movies ever since he was young, he and his friends would make a number of fun wacky films ranging from comedic skits, action oriented pieces, to short mockumentaries. It was these beginning steps into film making that would peak his interest into pursuing a career in making films. He entered into the Army following high school in 2004, which he is a part of still to this day. While performing his military duties he fulfilled one of his goals by attending film school at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Having recently graduated from the Academy of Art University, he received his BFA in Motion Pictures & Television. David has developed his skill set and experience with the different stages of film making from preproduction, production, and post production. Having a passion for directing he has produced a number of spec commercials and filmed his first narrative short film Crossed Lines, which draws from his experience overseas and deals with friendship and betrayal in extraordinary circumstances. Ever wanting to expand his skills and his knowledge of the many aspects of film making, he has gained experience with editing, lighting, special effects makeup, color grading, and visual effects. He has worked with a number of Bay Area film makers and brought his fun can do attitude, and talents to their different projects as well.
David is a budding filmmaker ready to get his feet wet in the industry and bring his creativity, experience, and talent to the projects he is involved in.
